Abe-Tec East Africa Limited, based in Nairobi, Kenya, was established in 2006. Its inception is rooted in a long-standing business relationship dating back to 1980, between the Sagoo family and the Böetcher family of the parent company, Abe-Tec Group, headquartered in Germany.
Founded in Hamburg in 1979, Abe-Tec Group is an engineering company specializing in steel works and machinery. Abe-Tec (EA) Ltd operates under the same umbrella, backed by the Group’s extensive knowledge and experience built through international clientele and modern facilities, including a 5,000 m² undercover factory equipped with overhead cranes.
The Group also encompasses two more enterprises within Germany, and additional branches in Ireland and Dubai, offering a wide range of mechanical works, modern technologies, and machinery — including overhead travelling cranes, stair lifts, and car lifts.

Since its establishment, Abe-Tec (EA) Ltd has successfully completed numerous on-site projects across Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa, covering mechanical, electrical, and structural works. Our expertise spans piping systems, boiler construction, stainless-steel tank erection, fabrication and installation of communication towers, trailers, tankers, power houses, and much more.
